The National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center’s Government Supply Chain Investigations Unit’s (GSCIU) Operation Roll Back is a multi-agency government initiative that takes a proactive approach in combating vulnerabilities in the government supply chain. Operation Roll Back utilizes shared data from e-commerce marketplaces to preemptively identify third-party vendors for the U.S. government operating as bad actors with respect to counterfeits and other intellectual property rights violations.​

Integral to the operation is its interagency coordination and partnership. Operation Roll back stands as a testament to the proactive and collaborative approach in securing its supply chains, protecting national security and public health among other critical sectors.
